Special Education

Through both theoretical and practical experience, students learn to work with disabled children and adults to earn either a certificate or associate degree and prepare for positions in public school education settings, group homes or supported-living programs. In addition to classroom instruction, students also get real-world experience working in Schoolcraft’s Children’s Center. Students can also transfer credits earned to a bachelor’s degree program at a four-year institution.
