Spring courses start May 11, 2015.
Opportunities continue to grow in the field of massage therapy with more and more people seeking preventative healthcare solutions and massage in rehabilitation and treatment. Schoolcraft offers both an associate in applied science degree and a certificate in massage therapy. Each provides students with the knowledge and skills to work in group and private practices, spas, and a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, managed care centers, and rehabilitation and sports medicine clinics.
- Courses in bodywork and therapy skills are developed to meet the expanding requirements of allied and complementary healthcare systems and to prepare students to take the national certification exam.
- Students receive real life experience by participating in community service activities such as providing massages at marathons and fund-raising walks.
