Occupational Safety and Health

Understanding how the standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) impact the workplace is the focus of two Schoolcraft courses offered in the Manufacturing and Technology program. The OSHA-authorized Occupational Safety and Health courses for General Industry and Construction cover employee rights and employer responsibilities, how to file an OSHA complaint and ways to identify and prevent job related hazards. Completion of these courses also makes students eligible for the OSHA 30-hour card in General Industry or Construction.
