In honor of the Board of aTrustees, Schoolcraft College offers a limited number of Trustee Scholarships and two Award of Excellence Scholarships (Mary Breen Award of Excellence and the Gregory and Jeanne Stempien Award of Excellence) to area high school seniors in recognition of academic achievement.
Interested students should complete the Trustee Scholarship and Award of Excellence application form available at www.schoolcraft.edu/scholarships. All materials must be received in the Admissions and Welcome Center by March 31, 2014 to be considered.
Requirements for the Trustees Scholarship, which provides $1,500 for the school year ($750 for each of the fall and winter semesters) are the student be a 2014 high school graduate, admitted to Schoolcraft College for Fall 2014, a 3.0 minimum GPA and minimum ACT score of 18. Requirements for the Award of Excellence Scholarships, which provide $2,000 to each of the two recipients ($1,000 for each of the fall and winter semesters) are similar to the Trustees Scholarship except the GPA minimum is 3.5 and ACT composite score of 23 is required.
Both scholarship types have the potential for renewal for the next academic year, provided a minimum number of credit hours and a minimum Schoolcraft College GPA are maintained.
