Sports Massage: Techniques for Muscle Health & Fitness
Increase your understanding of a variety of sports massage techniques. Learn how to perform these techniques focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed from repetitive and often aggressive movements. Sports massage techniques promote flexibility, reduce fatigue, improve endurance, help prevent injuries and prepare a body and mind for optimal performance. No partner is required. Participants will practice on classmates. Requirements: bring a pillow, a twin sheet set and two pillow cases, wear comfortable clothes such as sports attire.
