Barton Polot heads the music department at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan, where he specializes in computer music, synthesis and music technology. He is a widely sought clinician and lecturer on technology applications for music instruction and music-making. He regularly presents sessions at the annual Michigan Music Technology Conference, which brings practical and innovative technological tools to the state's music educators.
Dr. Frederick Moss joined the faculty at Schoolcraft College in the fall of 2002. During his college teaching career, he has taught a variety of courses including Music for Elementary School Teachers, Music Appreciation, Popular Music in America, and Instrumental Music Performance. An accomplished clarinetist, Dr. Moss has performed on numerous solo and chamber music recitals.
Dr. Soonghee Ha is a recent addition to the music faculty at Schoolcraft College where she teaches Class Piano and Music History. She received her doctoral degree in Piano Performance and Master of Music Education from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Ha is an active performer both as a soloist and a collaborative accompanist, and also teaches from her piano studio in Northville.
The Noon Concert events are free, open to the public and last approximately one hour.
