Annual Michigan Jazz Festival to be held at Schoolcraft College Sunday July 15 from noon to 9 p.m.; nearly 30 jazz soloists and groups to perform on seven stages
Nearly 30 jazz soloists and groups will perform on seven different stages on Sunday, July 15 from noon until 9 p.m. on the Schoolcraft College campus in Livonia as part of the 24th annual Michigan Jazz Festival.
This year’s lineup includes popular local acts like the Johnny Trudell Big Band, Ursula Walker and the Buddy Budson Quintet, the Sean Dobbins’ Modern Jazz Messengers and the Schoolcraft College Jazz Band, to name a few. A new stage has also been added this year at Schoolcraft College’s Brew Pub, located in the American Harvest Restaurant in the VisTaTech Center.
Admission to the Michigan Jazz Festival is free.
Schoolcraft's food service will have a wide variety of lunch and dinner fare available for purchase. Beer and wine are available as well, which must be consumed within VisTaTech.
