Career Counseling

Students can visit CTC for help in making career choices. Career decision-making tools are available to help students identify their interests, skills and abilities. Students can stop by or call to make an appointment with a career counselor.

  • www.openop.com – “Open Options” provides occupational information, wage data, college major information, apprenticeship resources, local employment information, internet links, career assessments and more.

Interviewing
  • www.perfectinterview.com/schoolcraft – The Perfect Interview is a learning tool that you can use to enhance your job interviewing skills. The Perfect Interview creates a realistic “practice Interview” experience where you are asked challenging questions and must respond as if you were in a real job interview.

Employment Services

Schoolcraft College students and graduates may use CTC employment services to look for full-time or part-time employment. On-campus job listings for students are located in the CTC office. Students can obtain help with resume preparation and interviewing tips.
