High Schoolers with Disabilities Can Learn More About Schoolcraft Services Aug. 9

      The Disabilities Support Services office at Schoolcraft College is sponsoring an informational seminar for high school students who have disabilities and are interested in attending Schoolcraft College this fall. This session on Sat., Aug. 9, at 11 a.m. in the Liberal Arts Buiding (room 140) is designed to provide information that will be useful in making the transition to Schoolcraft College. Topics of discussion will include the documentation required for accessing accommodations at Schoolcraft and the important differences between accommodations provided in high school and those offered at Schoolcraft. In addition the timelines and processes for applying for admission to Schoolcraft, reviewing placement scores to determine proficiency in math, English, and reading, and registering for courses will be discussed.
