Be prepared. Safeguard your child!

The Michigan Child ID Program will be at Schoolcraft College on Friday, August 3 from 3-6 p.m. in the VisTaTech Center. The free Michigan Child ID Program provides parents and guardians with a "Child ID Package" that contains all the vital information necessary to expedite law enforcement efforts to locate a missing child. The program also helps to educate families about abduction prevention and safety.

Pageturners hosts "Tootsie" (1982) on August 16 as part of Summer Classic Movie Series

Pageturners, Schoolcraft College's book discussion group, will present the movie Tootsie on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. as part of the group’s Summer Classic Movie Series. The movie will be shown in the McDowell Center on the college's main campus in Livonia.

Auditions for Moliere's "The Doctor in Spite of Himself" are September 11-12

Auditions will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, September 11 and 12, at 7:00 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Theatre for the Schoolcraft College's Theatre Department's fall production of Moliere's The Doctor in Spite of Himself. No previous theatre experience is required and the auditions are open to all students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

Meet Michael J. Wisniewski, Jr., Alumnus and Difference Maker

Michael J. Wisniewski, Jr. came to Schoolcraft College via a relatively circuitous route. After suffering a catastrophic injury while working on the assembly line of an auto company and three subsequent major surgeries, Mike was dealing with a significant depression and lack of direction.

“If anyone makes a difference at Schoolcraft College its Terri Lamb,” said Steven Kleiman in his nomination of Terri Lamb, Faculty Facilitator. “Terri saw something special in me that I have never seen in myself before. She helped me to become a better student. And it’s not just me. She has the ability to make everyone around her feel better about themselves and build their confidence to do great things.”
