Auditions for "Butterflies are Free" are Sept. 8-9
Auditions for the Theatre Department's fall production, "Butterflies Are Free," will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 9 in the Liberal Arts Theatre.
School Daze is Sept. 15 - 17
The Schoolcraft College Student Activities Office has planned the biggest School Daze Festival to date. As always, this year’s festival will provide each club and organization with a table, under a big top tent, to display information about their group. The event will run Tuesday – Thursday, September 15-17 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. each day.
Annual Culinary Extravaganza is September 27
Tickets are still available for Schoolcraft College’s annual Culinary Extravaganza Sunday, September 27 from 2-5 p.m. at the college’s VisTaTech Center in Livonia. Attendees will enjoy the delectable creations of more than 50 restaurants, pastry shops and beverage vendors.

Homeland Security Program at Schoolcraft College 2009-10
Following the terrorist attacks on the U.S. in 2001, the security industry has seen tremendous growth, both in the number of jobs to be filled and in the scope of the work security professionals perform. One of the fastest growing specialties in this field is homeland security.
Schoolcraft College is participating in Pennies for Peace campaign through November
Students, faculty and staff of Schoolcraft College are participating in the Pennies for Peace Campaign throughout the Fall semester. Pennies for Peace is an international service-learning program through which organizations, predominately educational institutions, donate pennies to support community-based education and literacy programs in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
